I'm done knitting my first adult-sized sweater! And for some unknown and lucky reason, despite my gauge errors, it seems to fit me just fine. See? I just have to seal up the armpits and weave in the multitude of ends. The collar seems a bit funky -- it sticks up a lot -- but Jess told me hers did that, too, and it settled down with blocking. Even Dave liked it, except for the collar part. But if I ever want a nice compliment, I just have to go upstairs to see Gram who always tells me how beautiful I look and how nice my blouse or sweater is. Without fail. Grandparents are great!
I just saw a wild turkey by the road -- we're not in the Big Apple anymore...
